The Obagi Nu-Derm Fx® System is the main product line in the Obagi range, and there is no surprise why. The launch of this targeted range has stood the test of time, with the skincare line able to be adapted to suit either Normal to Dry skin, and Normal to Oily skin. Regular use of these products helps to dramatically improve the signs of hyperpigmentation whilst simultaneously brightening the skin and clarifying for an all over glowy complexion. This easy-to-use skincare line is also numbered with the ideal order of use, with each bottle indicating whether to use morning or night. Obagi ELASTIderm®
Obagi ELASTIderm®, one of Obagi’s hero skincare lines, specifically targeting the delicate skin around the eyes, was brought to our bathroom cabinets in 2007. Patented with its game-changing anti-ageing Bi-Mineral Contour Complex™. This skincare line hit the ground running and hasn’t slowed down since. One of the newest, standout products that has blessed our skin from this Obagi line is the ELASTIderm® Facial Serum. In one study, 97% of users reported that their skin feels more elastic and resilient. They also saw a diminished appearance of crepey facial skin. This product launch is definitely a milestone in the story of Obagi and brings the power of ELASTIderm® ingredients to the face, neck and décolletage.
Obagi CLENZIderm M.D.™
2007 was a magical year for Obagi, with their skincare range expanding once again with the launch of Obagi CLENZIderm M.D™ Daily Care Foaming Cleanser. When this launch hit the shelves, skincare addicts with normal to oily skin experiencing breakouts and blemishes buzzed with excitement. Obagi changed the game once again with 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA), its active formula will unclog pores and wash away dead skin cells, while menthol helps to cool irritated skin. This product is now a beauty must-have in skincare routines globally.
After this, 2012 – 2014 saw the launch of a best-seller Obagi Hydrate®, the staple product Obagi Sun Shield Matte™ Broad Spectrum SPF 50, and a kit designed for those in their 20-30s, the OBAGI360® System. A busy few years for the Obagi brand.
SUZANOBAGIMD™
The latest expansion to the Obagi line is SUZANOBAGIMD™. In 2018 Obagi Medical partnered with world-renowned dermatologist Dr. Suzan Obagi with the goal to “marry time-honoured, medical-grade formulas with naturally sourced ingredients”. Name a more iconic duo.
